These sweet faces all belong to orphaned pets who found their forever homes through Animal Rescue of the Rockies! With help from people like you, we were able to give them a second chance at life and happiness.

Each dog or cat that comes into our care receives love, socialization, and training in a foster home while waiting and hoping for that special someone to choose them. Most have been abandoned by their previous families through no fault of their own.

Will you give an orphaned pet a chance at love and life? Your help truly makes a difference. Each life saved is a victory.

Please open your heart and home by clicking on one of the links above. You'll be rewarded with the unconditional love and devotion only a special pet can provide.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

Animal Rescue of the Rockies rescues homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded municipal shelters and underserved rural shelters by placing them in loving foster homes until permanent adoptive homes are found. We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation and encourage quality relationships between pets and their people through behavior resources and training. Our long-term goal is to establish a no-kill sanctuary where homeless dogs and cats can live happily until they find their forever homes.

Fosters Needed!

Because we've been rescuing so many abandoned pets lately, we are seeking fosters who can take one of our wonderful pit bull mixes (all well-behaved and good with people!) who have been boarding and need to have a warm temporary home outside of Denver where they can receive more one-on-one attention. Contact Kelly at ARRColorado@gmail.com if you'd like to foster one.

We're looking for strong pack leaders to foster some of our "naughty" dogs who need some special training.  ARR has a wonderful behavioral trainer who will come to your home and consult on the phone with you if you can help with one of these dogs.  And of course we're always looking for foster homes for our "nice" doggies, too!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

People Saving Pets

We are seeking Administrative Assistants to help with reviewing and organizing adoption and foster applications, as well as friendly, professional people who can follow up with potential adopters via phone or email. Are you interested? Contact ARRColorado(at)gmail.com.

A.R.R. is looking for FOSTER HOMES in the Denver metro area, north to Fort Collins, and south to Colorado Springs!

We also need ADOPTION EVENT VOLUNTEERS on the weekends at PetSmart stores in Glendale (near Cherry Creek in Denver), Wheat Ridge, and Loveland CO.

If you would like to help, please email us at ARRColorado(at)gmail.com. Thank you!
